 Oliver is an Advanced Driving Instructor with many years experience, offering manual driving tuition.  He has a tremendous record, successfully helping pupils of all abilities achieve their learning objectives and develop lifelong driving skills.

Frequently asked questions 

How many driving lessons do I need to pass my test? 

Driving is a skill, which means everyone develops at a different rate. The most important thing is to keep making continual improvements, one step at a time. Together we will develop a plan to work towards your test. On average a pupil will need 45 hours of tuition and 22 hours of private practice to be test ready. 
 How often should I take driving lessons? 

I always recommend 2hr driving lessons once a week. This will allow you time to develop your driving skill effectively and will be the most cost and time effective.
What car will I be driving?

My car is a 2020 Volkswagen Polo. The controls are all light and easy to use. It's the car you can see in the photos. You'll love driving it! 
Do I have a good pass rate? 

My overall pass rate is in excess of 70%, the national average is approx 41%. The most important thing is that you are continually improving, feel safe, confident and in control on the road


I'm nervous or worried about learning to drive? 

It's natural to be nervous about learning any new skill. We will build things one step at a time, developing your skills and confidence. My car is fitted with dual controls so I can safely control the car.  
I work during the day; do you facilitate evening or weekends? 
My driving hours for lessons are very flexible to meet my pupils lifestyles. I offer both evening and weekend lessons. I'm also flexible on start / finish locations.
